The program consists of a one-semester pre-practicum, during which candidates gradually assume responsibility for one class, followed by a one-semester practicum, which adds a second class to candidates’ responsibilities. Candidates are also enrolled in two graduate courses in pedagogy and teaching each semester. These courses meet after school on Mondays and Thursdays, and the coursework is designed to integrate with the practical experiences candidates are gaining during the school day.  Candidates also attend faculty and department meetings on Tuesday afternoons, and are completely integrated into the school community.
